Who runs and maintains it?
SMV supplies, owns, installs, stocks, cleans, services, and repairs the Smart Store, built on established Micromart hardware. One GTA contact handles residents and your staff. Your team never operates it.
Who is liable, and is the building covered?
SMV is a fully insured business, and our coverage protects the building. Repairs and maintenance are entirely on us.
Who pays for the electricity?
The Smart Store plugs into a standard outlet and draws about as much as a commercial fridge, so the cost to the building is small. In return, we provide a machine-backed Smart Store credit that residents can use, once a quarter or once a year.
What's the catch?
There is none. We earn our margin on what residents buy, so the building pays nothing.
